Cemetery

Lake Township Cemetery is a public non-denominational cemetery open to both residents and non-residents of the township. The cemetery was formally established in 1876 with some burials as early as 1871. Many members of the pioneer families of Lake Township are interred here.

The 40 acre cemetery is maintained by 2 full time employees. The cemetery hosts the annual Memorial Day program held by the Walbridge V.F.W. Post 9963.
