Spring Brush Pick up

2026 SPRING BRUSH PICK-UP FOR UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF LAKE TOWNSHIP:

April 20 –    Areas West of I-280

April 27   –    Areas East of I-280

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING RULES

Brush pick-up is for chippablebrush only.

Brush shall be stacked as neatly and untangled as possible.

Brush shall be placed at the road edge with butt ends of all branches facing in the same direction towards the road.

Garbage, yard waste, and objects other than brush and limbs will not be picked up.

Any brush piles that are deemed unchippable shall be documented by picture by the Lake Township Road Department and a final determination shall be made within twenty-four (24) hours by a Lake Township Trustee on the disposal of the brush pile.

FREE woodchips are available at the Road Department on Ayers Road

The Lake Township Trustees remind all residents of the Noxious Weed Policy.

Residents will be charged if the Board deems it necessary to mow noxious weeds on private property after notice is given to the landowner.  The time billed will include travel time to and from the site.  The repair costs for any breakage of equipment due to poles, posts, and/or holes in the ground will be added to the hourly mowing bill.

You can drop off your recycling 24/7 at the recycling station at:

Millbury Fire Station

1911 Ayers Road

Bins are labeled. Please separate your recycling and put in the appropriate bins.

NO DUMPING TRASH

ONLY ITEMS LISTED AS ACCEPTED RECYCLABLES ARE TO BE DROPPED OFF AND MUST BE PUT INSIDE THE BINSDO NOT LEAVE ON GROUND OUTSIDE OF BINS.
